View my résumé

Hi, I’m Tammy—the person behind Tammy Builds.

I’ve spent more than twenty-five years working with software, databases, and the people who depend on them. Technology has changed throughout my career, but what draws me to the work remains the same: understanding a problem and finding a practical way forward.

My background includes more than twenty-three years supporting State of Maine systems, alongside earlier work in manufacturing technology and systems engineering. Today, I’m bringing that experience into AI, automation, modern data systems, and custom software.

I believe good technology should help people feel more capable. Sometimes that means a website that explains a business clearly. Sometimes it means connecting systems, improving an established application, or building a tool that takes a frustrating task off someone’s plate.

This chapter is about building with purpose. Through Tammy Builds, I want to create useful products, grow a lasting business, and do work I can be proud of. The legacy I hope to leave is in the people my work helps and the opportunities it makes possible.

Thank you for getting to know me—and for being part of what comes next.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Clarity,
before we begin.

Do I need to know exactly what I want built?

No. Explain what you are trying to accomplish, what happens today, and what is getting in the way. A technical assessment can help define the next step.

Do you only work with spreadsheets?

No. Tammy’s work spans software, websites, databases, AI assistants, automation, integrations, established systems, and technical guidance. Spreadsheets are one area within that broader work.

How much does custom work cost?

Custom work is quoted after the scope, requirements, and deliverables are understood. Any third-party software or AI usage costs should be identified before you commit. Downloadable products will have a fixed price and clear contents when available for purchase.

Can you help with AI agents?

We can discuss assistant configuration, business knowledge, integrations, permissions, testing, and evaluation. The right approach depends on the task and its risks. Model training is a separate scope where appropriate.

Does the free plan solve my problem?

No. It puts your notes in one place and offers simple, general tips. It does not understand or review your written problem. Send your notes to Tammy for a personal review. Any paid work needs an agreed scope and price first.

What happens after I send an inquiry?

Your request is saved for Tammy to review. Sending it does not book time, start work, or create a payment obligation. Please do not submit passwords or confidential records.

Can I buy an app or a monthly subscription?

The current site provides free guidance and demo links. Paid downloads, customer accounts, and subscriptions will be introduced only with defined contents, pricing, usage limits, and support terms.
